Exploration Process
Resurfacer or overlays can be applied over existing concrete for repair or decorative purposes. A thin layer of specially formulated concrete overlay or surface refinement grout can be applied as thin as a feather finish up to 3/4″ depending on the desired finish. Resurfacer is usually a polymer-modified mixture that creates a strong bond with the underlying concrete. The new surface layer can protect the underlying concrete from further wear and tear caused by weather, foot traffic, or chemicals.
